Safilo Group – one of the eyewear industry’s key players in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of prescription frames, sunglasses, outdoor eyewear, goggles, and helmets – announces its return to Vision Expo East in New York at the Javits Center, from March 15 – 17th, marking another milestone event in the company’s year-long 90th anniversary celebration, after MIDO.  

As part of its DNA, since 1934, a principle of looking ahead to allow millions of people to see the world at its best, every day, Safilo celebrates 90 years of excellence that have allowed the company to innovate without ever losing sight of product excellence and outstanding customer service. The ability to create value through this outlook has been Safilo’s goal over the years and will continue to be its compass as the company looks to the future.

On that note, Safilo looks forward to welcoming Vision Expo East customers and show attendees to its Terrace 4AB-L4 (Level 4) location where it will present its new Spring 2024 frame collections from its extensive North American portfolio, including home brands such as Carrera, including the new Carrera Smart Glasses with Alexa and Carrera Woman collections, as well as Chesterfield, Elasta by Safilo, Emozioni by Safilo and Polaroid, as well as numerous licensed collections, including BOSS, Carolina Herrera, kate spade new york, Tommy Hilfiger and Under Armour.

Also, related to Vision Expo East, Safilo announces the following:

  • On Thursday, March 14th, Safilo is excited to honor Reagan Colpitts, Senior Business Development Manager of Safilo USA, who will be recognized as the OWA 2024 Emerging Leader Award recipient at the OWA Champagne Breakfast Celebrating Women in Leadership held during Vision Expo East.
  • Robin Brush, ABOC, Safilo’s Training and Education Manager for North America, will present four, not-to-be-missed, one-hour VEE continuing education courses for ABO credit on Friday, March 15th to help show attendees achieve better results for their practices.  Classes, held on-site at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, include:  Breaking Bad Buying Habits at 7:15am (Room #1A29), It’s Not All About You at 8:30am (Room #1A09), Stay Shady at 9:45am (Room #1A04) and When Life Gives You Lemons at 11:00am (Room #1A07).     
  • Safilo is a proud participant in The Vision Expo NOW Pavilion and will be present with numerous frames on display as they relate to this year’s unique VEE 2024 design themes, including the new Carrera Smart Glasses with Alexa, Polaroid, BOSS, Carolina Herrera, kate spade new york Marc Jacobs and Tommy Hilfiger, among others.
