Following the Company’s previous communication concerning the transfer of the Longarone plant, Safilo informs that advanced negotiations are in place with the entrepreneur Carlo Fulchir, which, together with the potential transaction with Thelios S.p.a., would allow for the preservation of the plant’s know-how and to fully relocate its current 458 workers. The Company believes that, thanks to the ongoing full involvement of the social partners and institutions, the negotiation process can be swiftly concluded.
