TOMMY HILFIGER AND SAFILO ANNOUNCE GLOBAL EYEWEAR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE U.S. SAILGP TEAM
As the SailGP 2024-25 season takes off, the partnership is a game-changing fusion of sport and style.
Tommy Hilfiger, which is part of PVH Corp. [NYSE: PVH], and Safilo, one of the eyewear industry’s key players in the design, manufacturing and distribution of prescription frames, sunglasses, outdoor eyewear, goggles, and helmets, announces a multi-year partnership with the United States SailGP Team as Official Eyewear Partner. Bringing a fresh wave of energy to the partnership, the release includes sunglasses and frames from the TOMMY HILFIGER Eyewear Spring Summer 2025 collection blending the brand’s “Prep Made Modern” style with the spirit of the open seas.
SailGP is sailing like never before — a high-adrenaline competition that brings world-class athletes from rival national teams to legendary locations, from Auckland to Saint-Tropez and New York. Designed to be worn waterside by U.S. SailGP Team CEO Mike Buckley and his crew, the collection will also be seen on fans around the world as they enjoy the most exciting race on water.
Furthering TOMMY HILFIGER’s legacy of breaking conventions by merging fashion and sport, the partnership with the U.S. SailGP Team launched globally in November 2024. As the sport rapidly grows in popularity, Tommy Hilfiger and the U.S. SailGP Team will continue to partner in pushing the boundaries of performance, design and culture during the 2025 Rolex SailGP Championship and beyond.
Designed, manufactured and distributed by Safilo Group, under license from Tommy Hilfiger, the Spring Summer 2025 TOMMY HILFIGER Eyewear Collection will be available on tommy.com, in TOMMY HILFIGER stores, and in selected eyewear stores worldwide from February 2025.
