The Vision Council, co-organizer of Vision Expo, today shares the schedule of member events planned for Vision Expo West 2022, taking place September 14–17 in Las Vegas. From a complimentary hike at Red Rocks State Park—which is open to all interested members of the industry—to a festive welcome reception and a robust schedule of meetings featuring updates from The Vision Council’s team of experts, The Vision Council will host several informative and engaging events for its members on Wednesday, September 14. The Vision Council will kick off Vision Expo West with a BusinessOutside® Connection Hike at Red Rocks State Park on Wednesday, September 14 from 6:15–11 a.m. The hike is open to all members of the industry and will lead participants through a series of interactive discussions during a four-mile excursion in an inspiring setting. Transportation, water, and healthy snacks will be provided. There is no cost to attend. Following the hike, The Vision Council will host a complimentary welcome lunch for members from 12–1 p.m., followed by a series of member meetings featuring presentations from The Vision Council’s team of experts.

New this year, the Lab Division Program, which will take place from 3:30–5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, will focus on new equipment and technology advancements and will introduce the Division’s new E-Learning Series, a quarterly webinar series led by expert guest speakers on topics including customer service, hiring and retention, lab redundancy, new equipment and tool advancements, supply chain disruption strategies, and new technology and vendors entering the ophthalmic space. To kick off the series at Vision Expo West, a guest speaker will present “The Latest Lab Technology Advances” and share details on the next E-Learning topic with attendees. The presentation will be available following Vision Expo West and attendees are encouraged to share information provided with their respective companies.

The Vision Council will conclude its schedule of events on Wednesday, September 14 with a celebratory welcome reception from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at Sugarcane at The Venetian.
