SNOB Milano unveils ten models that embody the identity of the Milanese brand, long regarded as a benchmark in the world of clip-on eyewear. Each frame is designed to combine aesthetics and functionality with a measured balance between fashion inspiration and everyday wearability. This collection doesn’t seek flashy effects but substance — a manifesto of conscious style, crafted with precision and passion.

SNOB Milano has officially presented its new collection of optical frames with magnetic clip-ons, comprising ten modelsseven crafted in plastic and three in titanium. The collection confirms the brand’s eclectic and sophisticated approach, firmly establishing it as a leader in the clip-on sunglasses sector.

Titanium — a material that has become a permanent part of the brand’s DNA — is increasingly celebrated for its extraordinary qualities: ultra-light, corrosion-resistant, durable, and biocompatible. These characteristics make it perfect for high-end frames that combine everyday comfort with robustness. The three new titanium models — RickyTommi, and Okay — each interpret the material using different techniques: Ricky employs classic technology with soldered rims, while Tommi and Okay stand out for their fully milled construction. In all cases, traditional hinge screws have been replaced with an innovative snap-fit system offering controlled flexibility, ensuring durability and a clean aesthetic.

The plastic range is distinguished by a variety of shapes, spanning from classic silhouettes to bold yet measured lines. Among the standout models is Butterfly, in the C06 “foulard” colourway — sinuous and feminine, enriched by a vivid gradient mixing fuchsia, blue, and yellow. Equally anticipated is Biancolatte, a small, refined oval shape with an extremely feminine appeal, which has already enjoyed great success in the early weeks of sales. The collection is further enriched by Nepenta, characterised by a square, hexagonal shape with generous volumes, and Camparino, a compact rectangular frame conceived as the “little brother” of Biancolatte. Completing the offer are Goccia, a reinterpretation of the aviator with a closed double bridge; Gross, a large-sized men’s rectangular frame (56mm lens width) designed for prominent faces; and finally, Pagoda, a squared pantos style, thin, lightweight, and masculine. The collection thus presents a dual personality: alongside iconic shapes such as ButterflyBiancolatte, and Goccia, it offers more classic models, maintaining a perfect balance between fashion inspiration and everyday practicality.

The colour palette is divided into three main familiessolid tones including black, tortoise, dark blue, cherry, and sage; transparent variants such as crystal, rose quartz, and amber; and finally, the brighter, more vibrant options, including yellow, solid white, a glossy/matte gold combo, and naturally the “foulard” print.

As tradition dictates, every model is equipped with a magnetic solar clip-on featuring ZEISS Sunlens lenses — a distinctive hallmark of the brand and a guarantee of optical excellence.

Reaching double digits — ten years of activity — is an important milestone,” comments Tommaso Bossetti, designer at SNOB Milano“Every season we approach the project with increasing awareness, carefully choosing where and how to experiment, without ever going overboard. This year, I enjoyed revisiting our past by reinterpreting iconic models with details designed to improve profile and fit. These aren’t mere reissues but true evolutions of shapes that our audience has particularly appreciated. Alongside these, I have introduced designs more aligned with current trends, always maintaining a clear and recognisable DNA. The result is a classic and balanced collection that doesn’t push boundaries unnecessarily.”

Today, SNOB Milano is distributed and appreciated throughout the Mediterranean basinincluding North Africa and the Middle EastEntirely made in Italy at the Sordelli house factory in Venegono Inferiore, the collection reflects a Mediterranean spirit that combines design with practicality. The clientele, evenly split between men and women, choose the brand for the build quality of the frames, which opticians consider a top choice for complex lenses — such as progressives — thanks to the durability and lightness each model guarantees. Plastic dominates the Mediterranean and Balkan markets, while titanium is highly popular in Central and Northern Europe.
The collaboration with ZEISS Sunlens continues to strengthen the brand’s reputation, confirming SNOB Milano as a leader in the magnetic clip-on sunglasses segment. “Our goal,” Bossetti concludes, “is to continue growing gradually and consistently, season after season, without ever betraying the identity that sets us apart.”
