SAFILO PRESENTS A NEW ITERATION OF ITS  OPEN-CONCEPT BOOTH AT VISION EXPO WEST  PLUS, PARTIES, EDUCATION AND MORE

Safilo Group, one of the eyewear industry’s key players in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of prescription frames, sunglasses, outdoor eyewear, goggles, and helmets, announces its return to the main show floor of Vision Expo West (VEW) where it will be present with an inviting and expansive open-concept booth space (#P19075 – The Park) from which to greet customers and show attendees.  The show runs from Thursday, September 28th through Saturday, September 30th.  

The welcoming environment – complete with Zen-like greenery representing a symbolic nod to the company’s corporate emphasis on sustainability – will offer seating areas to meet and greet and reconnect with Safilo.  Anchored by four freestanding focal walls, the booth will anniversary the messaging of the company’s North American campaign for the market: We’re Redefining Partnership. People. Product. Planet

A new dedicated focal area for the company’s Carrera house brand will feature the latest Carrera Woman and    Carrera I Ducati collections, as well as the forward-thinking debut of the innovative Carrera Smart Glasses with Alexa ambient technology developed in collaboration with Amazon.com 

The booth’s interior space will serve as a lounge with a large video screen and additional monitors that will play visually impactful corporate and branded video content while customers await their appointments.  Several frame brands will be showcased in museum-style displays.  Highlighted frame collections will include house brands Safilo Elasta and Safilo Emozioni as well as licensed frame collections including BOSS, Carolina Herrera, Eyewear by David Beckham, kate spade new york, Levi’s, Marc Jacobs, Tommy Hilfiger and Under Armour. The back of the booth will include additional seating with product housed in the center. An enlarged order-writing area, with additional work stations and a conference room, will serve as an exclusive selling environment for customers and sales representatives to view the company’s complete product portfolio.  New this year, a MySafilo “genius bar” has been added where Safilo will provide customer trainings and review the newest features and benefits offered on its state-of-the-art North American B2B platform.  

Safilo will also be present in The Suites, located on the 35th floor of The Venetian, to greet strategic accounts and corporate chains in Suite 35-207.

To celebrate the recently announced early renewals of its kate spade new york and Tommy Hilfiger global eyewear licenses, Safilo will host two invitation-only parties for customers and the media: 

  • On Wednesday, September 27th, from 5:00 – 9:00pm, a kate spade new york Vision Expo West Welcome Party will take place at the Sunset Terrace at The Wynn.  
  • On Friday, September 29th, from 9:00pm – 1:00am, a Tommy Lights up Vegas Prep for the Perfect View Party will take place at LAVO, inside The Venetian.

Outside the booth, Robin Brush, ABOC, Safilo’s Training and Education Manager for North America, will present four not-to-be-missed continuing education courses for ABO credit on Thursday, September 28th to help show attendees achieve better results for their practices.  Classes include Breaking Bad Buying Habits from 7:15 – 8:15AM, It’s Not All About You from 8:30am-9:30am, Stay Shady from 9:45-10:45am and When Life Gives You Lemons from 11:00am – 12:00pm.     

Vision Expo West continues to be an incredible opportunity for Safilo to support the industry and celebrate our people, products and partnership with our customers.
