The first North Sails eyeglasses collection produced by Mirage for the famous sailing brand consists of eight models designed according to the brand’s style and philosophy. They have modern and sporty shapes and are divided into two product lines: Performance, more technical, and Lifestyle, ideal for leisure.
The common feature of these frames is the use of Bio Nylon material, a resin derived from castor oil produced from biomass energy, completely recyclable and classified as Carbon Neutral. The collection features classic shapes reinterpreted in a contemporary vein and marked by the iconic North Sails metal logo.
Both lines, Performance and Lifestyle, are characterised by the lightness and flexibility provided by Bio Nylon for the horizontally and vertically adjustable rubber end pieces and by the integrated flex hinge, all of which guarantee maximum wearing comfort. The nose pads are adjustable and replaceable, and each model in the Performance line comes with an additional set. Finally, the wide range of colours includes sober and classic shades alternating with more appealing and fresh ones.
In the Performance line, shapes are either squared, like the Alein, Varuna and Kanaloa models, or more rounded, like the Galene model. The frames come in classic colours such as black and havana alternating with blue, red, green, shaded havana or crystal versions with contrasting black temples.
The Lifestyle line also features traditional yet modern shapes (Hubble, Keplero, Aquarius and Lyra) marked by classic black and havana shades alternating with fresh red-pink, blue-green shades and lively and energetic translucent single colours.
