Design, passion and craftsmanship are at the heart of every ANDY WOLF frame, and AWearness complements this with special details and a desire for a more sustainable lifestyle. Following the launch of the acetate collection in 2021, Andy Wolf is now expanding the AWearness collection with metal frames and clip-ons that combine versatility, precision and craftsmanship.

AWearness stands for well thought-out design down to the smallest detail, using only materials with a recycled content: high-quality acetate renew and monel. The design completely dispenses with non-detachable connections. All parts are screwed together separately and can be replaced easily and simply thanks to this kit system. After many years of wear, every single pair of glasses and every clip-on can be dismantled into all individual parts, i.e. into unmixed materials that can be easily recycled. Replacing individual parts saves on both packaging and transportation.

The AWearness collec.on combines two lines with one design signature: The acetate frames are inspired by the shapes and colors of our very first ANDY WOLF collec.on – a tribute to our beginnings. The metal frames are classic and modern. Deliberate details such as facets and embossed patterns make each AWearness frame a three-dimensional design object, a luxurious companion for everyday wear.

Technical details are not hidden, but are the focus of aEen.on. All individual parts such as temple inserts, hinges and temples are components that we have developed especially for this collection. Every component, every material comes from Europe, only the nose pads are made of .tanium and are manufactured in Japan. A paEern derived from the leEers A and W runs through the AWearness collection. The design language of each individual component speaks AWearness and so you can recognize an AWearness frame at first glance even without a visible logo.

The new models come in four colors – rose gold, gold, black-silver and gun metal. There is a matching sun clip for each variant, which transforms the frame into sunglasses in the blink of an eye.
