KOMONO x Eat Dust

Accessories brand KOMONO teams up with luxury denim label Eat Dust for their secondrelease of a creation of a capsule eyewear collection, launching on 30th of March 2023.Both hailing from Antwerp, Belgium, they found a common ground in their rebelliousattitude and uncompromising vision on quality and innovative design.

The first release of the capsule collection was a true success immediately selling out andgarnering a lot of international interest. Named after the three founders of Eat Dust, thecollection consists out of three styles which are all available in three different colourways.

Co-founder and CEO of KOMONO, Anton Janssens quotes “We launched a first collabnow 3 years ago, which was sold out instantly, so the chemistry between both brands isvery strong. This gave us the feeling that there was a lot more that we could do together,as we ’ve a lot of requests for the products, and we didn’t reach full potential. This secondcollaboration is a much-anticipated sequel to the story!”

The capsule collection carriers through with the same frames, consisting of three styles,Hioco 73, Robertus 67 and Walther 76. A timeless and classic feel to them, albeit with acontemporary twist due to their chunky and sturdy character. The collection is handmadein Italy from the finest responsibly sourced acetate. The new colours this time around,align with Eat Dust’s new collection. With denim being in Eat Dust’s DNA, a beautiful blueshade, the Indigo was created. Military is another huge influence for Eat Dust, soinspiration stemmed from there resulting in a smoky green, the Forest colourway, and thetranslation of camouflage print to tortoise & ombré acetate, the Tortoise colourway.

The collection will retail at €169 and be available at the KOMONO flagship stores, EatDust flagship store in Antwerp and Paris, komono.com, eatdustclothing.com and atselected retailers.
