Doyle Optometrists and Opticians is proud to announce the acquisition of Pierre Roy Opticien, a clinic established in Neufchâtel since 1999. This acquisition brings the group’s total number of boutiques to 26, confirming the continued growth of its network.
As part of this transaction, optometrist Dr. Pascal Desjardins, who has been practising with the Doyle group for several years, has become co-owner of the boutique. He continues his commitment to the network alongside an experienced and dedicated team, with whom he will keep providing high-quality eye care.
Several improvements have been made to the clinic to enhance the client experience and create an even more welcoming work environment.
Well established in the Québec City region since 2018 with three boutiques located in Sainte-Foy, Saint-Roch and Lebourgneuf, the Doyle group is strengthening its local presence and responding to growing regional demand for quick, personalized access to quality eye care.

This acquisition is part of a carefully planned expansion strategy combining organic growth and targeted acquisitions. Other initiatives are currently under review and are expected to take shape as early as 2026 under the leadership of President Patrick Doyle and Vice President and optometrist Karl Brousseau.
