The organisers of 100% Optical have announced an exciting lineup of new influencer partnerships for 2024 who will also join the panel of judges for next year’s Love Eyewear Awards.

Collaborating with the UK’s largest optical show to celebrate its 10th anniversary are:

  • Carolina Lober, a Personal Image Consultant from Barcelona, 11 years experience in eyewear-specialised consulting
  • Nuria Gomez Fernandez and Miguel Mazon Varela, eyewear bloggers who share their passion for everything optics and eyewear, specialising in independent brands for 10 years. Miguel is also an optician optometrist by profession

Grégoire Vuilleumier, Vintage Eyewear Curator, will also be joining the exciting judging panel for 2024.

100% Optical has also announced that it has extended the deadline for its popular Love Eyewear Awards to Monday 11th December giving brands an extra week to submit their entries across the 13 categories which include New Designer 2024, Sustainable Frame of the Year, Eyewear Retailer of the Year and the newly introduced Best Innovation of the Year Award. The shortlisted nominees will be announced on 22nd January and the winners will be revealed on the first day of the show.

In addition to the new award category and judging panel, the special decade anniversary awards also feature an interactive online filter created by ShopAR by DeepAR, the headline sponsor of the Love Eyewear Awards. The digital widget which is now live on the website allows users to virtually try on last year’s winning frames in a 3D format to grasp an authentic sense of the frame’s look and style.
