Vision-Ease Lens (VEL) welcomes Kristina Engelking as its new marketing communications specialist. Engelking brings more than a dozen years of marketing experience to the company.

In her new role, Engelking will enhance Vision-Ease Lens’ events, trade show presence and customer education initiatives. She will support media outreach and marketing communications, including website development, as well as email, advertising and direct mail campaigns.

“Kristina understands how strategic communications help a company grow and reach its goals,” said Jay Lusignan, marketing communications manager at Vision-Ease Lens. “Her hands-on experience, especially related to trade shows and marketing campaigns, will strengthen our team’s capabilities and advance our position in the marketplace.”

Prior to joining Vision-Ease Lens, Engelking served as sales and marketing associate at Lemna Technologies Inc., where she coordinated advertising, led trade show logistics and developed technical sales and marketing materials. Additional past experience includes corporate marketing specialist with Walker Methodist, where Engelking developed marketing materials, press releases and newsletters, as well as coordinated events and website updates.

Engelking graduated from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. In her free time, she coaches and volunteers with Special Olympics Minnesota, and works with Cancer Action Network and Relay for Life as a member of the American Cancer Society.
