Transitions Optical, Inc. has named Larissa Bryan Director, Sunwear, effective immediately. In her new role, Bryan will be responsible for leading the sunwear team in developing and executing strategies to grow the line of Transitions® adaptive sunwear products globally. She will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new sunwear partners. The Transitions sunwear line includes products with best-in-class partners like Bell®, Callaway®, Nike® and Oakley®, designed for outdoor use during activities like cycling, running, golf, driving and motorcycle riding.

Bryan joined Transitions Optical in 2004 where she was Manager, Strategic Projects and quickly advanced in 2005 to Area Business Director, China, responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to increase Transitions® lens sales in China. In 2010, she was appointed to her most recent role in global marketing as Director, Global Analytics & Intelligence.

Bryan is a graduate of The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania where she received her MBA in Strategic Management. Prior to enrolling in Wharton, she worked in Beijing, China with General Motors as Manager, Public Affairs and Communications. Her other experience in China includes working for the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service at the U.S. Embassy and for a boutique consulting firm specializing in market access. Bryan speaks Mandarin Chinese and holds a BA in Political Science from Northwestern University.
