Steve Morris:”I couldn’t be more thrilled to lead i-Optics’ game changing imaging technologies into the North American markets. The EasyScan SLO imaging platform will transform the way physician’s approach retinal imaging. This truly innovative platform makes diagnosis easy and accessible to all patients and offers future advancements that clearly set it apart from standard fundus photography. And then there’s Cassini, an incredible new Topographer i-Optics launched this month during the Vision Expo West here in the USA and the ESCRS in Europe.“ Cassini is the first topographer based on point-to-point Color LED Topography, making it far more accurate and precise than legacy ring-based Placido topographers. This is good news for 150 million contact lens wearers worldwide, 75 million people suffering from dry eyes and 5 million Keratoconus patients. Steve continuous: “Likewise, the Cassini sets a new standard in accuracy with its novel Color LED based topography mapping. Cassini holds the promise for significant advancements in visual correction and unmatched refractive and post refractive surgical biometric accuracies”.
