Joannie Mantha, a third semester student of the Technique d’orthèses visuelles program at Collège Édouard-Montpetit was presented with the Essilor Perseverance Award worth $ 1,000 at the awards ceremony organized by the Fonds de développement du Collège Édouard-Montpetit on December 10, 2013.

Rewarding effort and determination
To receive the Essilor Perseverance Award, students must, among other things, maintain a predetermined average in their specific training courses, obtain a recommendation from a coordinator proving their attendance (no absences to specific training courses) and write a 250 words essay highlighting their commitment and perseverance. The final selection is made by a committee that carefully examines all applications submitted.

Essilor offers its sincere congratulations to Joannie and wishes her continued success in her studies.
