Optometry Giving Sight is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Anderson as Chief Development Officer for North America.

Eric is a senior development leader with more than 25 years experience in all aspects of fundraising management with special emphasis on the cultivation, solicitation and stewarding of major gifts and planned giving.

Eric’s previous appointments include the American Indian College Fund (Denver, CO), University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, The Medical College of Wisconsin (Milwaukee) and Carroll College (Waukesha, WI).

“We are delighted to welcome Eric to this important new role, and look forward to working with him to increase our fundraising capacity in the USA, Canada and Mexico,” said CEO, Clive Miller. “There is an incredible need for additional funds to support sustainable eye and vision care programs throughout the region, and we are very pleased to have been able to attract someone with Eric’s skills and experience to help us expand our efforts”.

Mr. Miller identified support for the establishment of new Schools of Optometry in Haiti and southern Mexico as priority projects for the organization over the next few years.

Eric will be based at the Optometry Giving Sight office in Denver, CO.
