New Film Fuels Demand for Steve Jobs’ Iconic Eyewear

With the release of “Jobs”, the Steve Jobs biographical film starring Ashton Kutcher, Robert Marc sees a growing demand for Lunor’s round rimless eyeglasses that were part of Steve Jobs iconic style.

To lend authenticity to Kutcher’s role as the Apple Computer founder and tech industry hero, the filmmakers outfitted their leading man with the same luxury eyewear by Lunor: the “Classic Round”. The frame was chosen by Jobs in 1998, who loved the elegant simplicity of the design. The look was completed with custom round lenses, originally designed just for Steve Jobs by Robert Marc, the New York eyewear designer.

Jobs was a long term customer of Robert Marc, and over the years he wore the Lunor frames in both antiqued silver and custom 18K white gold with the now famous round lenses. To meet the great demand for this distinguished look, the round shape was recently added to the Lunor Classic Collection.
