Contact Lens Institute Visionaries Offer Examples of Having Brief and Productive Conversations with Every Patient

After garnering thousands of views across its YouTube and social media platforms since an August 2022 launch, the Contact Lens Institute has expanded its “Make It EASY” short-form video series. New content from Jennifer Wademan, OD, of Bidwell Optometry in Folsom, Calif., and Jason Tu, OD, of Invision Optometry in San Diego joins existing segments from eight of their peers, all of whom are 2022 Contact Lens Institute Visionaries.

Each episode provides an example of one-minute exam room conversations to communicate and reinforce healthy contact lens wear-and-care habits. The 10-video series is available as a playlist on the Contact Lens Institute YouTube channel, making it convenient for staff education.

The “Make It EASY” videos are part of the Contact Lens Institute’s The EASY Way (Eyes, Awareness, Safety and You) program, which helps the eye care community promote healthy contact lens wear and care habits among patients through three simplified steps. It includes attention-grabbing infographics and companion digital resources for use in practices, all available at EASYWayProgram.org.
