Hot off the runway and onto the floor of the New York Javits Centre (NYJC) are the newest and chicest styles from around the world.
From March 26 to 30, eyecare providers, retailers, wholesalers and other industry insiders will descend upon the NYJC to learn what is new in technology and what is trending when it comes to style.

This year promises to be one of the biggest shows ever, following a hugely successful Vision Expo West in Las Vegas in October.

New Partnership

One of the highlights of this year’s event is the partnership between International Vision Expo & Conference and the British Contact Lens Association (BLCA) who have entered into a multi-year, content exchange agreement to create a two-day “Global Contact Lens Forum.” The new partnership follows months of conversations aimed at expanding and improving continuing education offerings at their respective conferences.

The first program will be available at International Vision Expo East in New York, March 26 and 27, 2014, providing a platform for delivering the latest scientific content and business strategies related to contact lenses. The BCLA will host the second forum in Birmingham, England in June.

The agreement allows International Vision Expo to broaden its contact lens offerings and further solidify its position as a world-class content provider.
“We’re proud to collaborate with the BCLA on this entirely new, stand- alone contact lens program,” said Kirk Smick, OD, FAAO, chairman of International Vision Expo’s Conference Advisory Board. “The BCLA is the most respected contact lens meeting on the globe and Vision Expo is leading the field in practice management trends and business strategies. It’s the perfect collision of scientific education and business content.”
