Kenmark Eyewear, a leader in crafting and distributing original optical eyewear and sunglasses, is excited to announce they will be donating to several organizations dedicated to the Black community in support of Black History Month.
A portion of all sales globally between February 21 – 28 will be donated to The King Center, Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Black Girls CODE, and 100 Black Men of America Inc. in support and celebration of Black History Month. These organizations are doing amazing work both within their communities and globally to support social justice initiatives, education and empowerment focused on the Black community. Kenmark is both excited and proud to do their part to help support and elevate Black voices.
A little bit about the organizations:
The King Center
The King Center prepares global citizens to create a more just, humane and peaceful world using Dr. King’s nonviolent philosophy and methodology through educational trainings and hands-on community engagement. Thurgood Marshall College Fund
Their mission is to ensure student success by promoting educational excellence and preparing the next generation of workforce talent through leadership development.
Black Girls CODE
Their vision is to increase the number of women of color in the digital space by empowering girls of color to become innovators in STEM fields, leaders in their communities, and builders of their own futures through exposure to computer science and technology.
100 Black Men of America Inc.
The mission of 100 Black Men of America, Inc. is to improve the quality of life within our communities and enhance educational opportunities for all African American through our mentor and leadership programs.
